Meet Lalita Dsilva
Hello everyone, my name is Lalita Dsilva, a passionate pediatric nurse dedicated to caring for children. My journey in healthcare began in a hospital setting, but after the birth of my child, I found it challenging to manage hospital shifts. This led me to explore home care nursing, where I could balance my professional and personal life while still doing what I love.
In 1996, my career took a pivotal turn when I started working as a home care nurse for Anant Ambani, marking the beginning of my journey in baby care.
Working with the Ambani family for over a decade, I discovered my true calling. I wasn’t just doing a job—I was fulfilling a passion.
The Ambani family treated me as one of their own, making my work feel like home rather than a duty.
After 10 enriching years with the Ambanis, I decided to explore new avenues and pursued a course in naturopathy. However, my love for working with children drew me back to the world of baby care, and I continued to serve as a trusted nanny and nurse in various corporate and VVIP households.
In 2016, my career took another exciting turn when I joined the esteemed household of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, caring for their son, Taimur Ali Khan.
Working with Taimur was a unique experience, not only because he was a celebrity child but also because it required a level of discretion and care due to the constant media attention. My presence with Taimur often attracted media interest, and I became fondly known as “Taimur Ki Nanny” on social media. This recognition, while unexpected, highlighted my commitment to providing the best care in challenging environments.
I have also had the honor of working with other high-profile families, including the global superstar Ram Charan and his family. Each experience has enriched my journey, allowing me to provide nurturing, expert care to children while being a trusted support for their families.
Today, I continue my journey, driven by the passion that started it all—caring for children with love, patience, and expertise. My experiences have taught me that every child is unique, and it is a privilege to be part of their early years, helping to shape their growth in a nurturing environment.
